I am able to provide care in your home. As a disabled veteran, I have access to Fort Riley. I am a retired federal employee wanting to care for children. I love interacting with children; playing, singing, teaching, and doing arts and crafts. I have worked with children at schools, daycares, Girl scouts and churches. I have been a nanny for multiple families over the past 10 years working full-time for several months at a time. I mostly do occasional care and have been a care provider for several families in the Junction City, Ft Riley, Manhattan and Ogden area for over 10 years.

I love working with kids because it reminds me of how amazing and exciting the world can be. I started working with kids when I was about 13 years old. I started working with kids of special needs about 4 years ago. I have been working with infants for about 4 years as well and since then I have been working with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to volunteer with the special needs community along with local events. When I'm not volunteering I enjoy reading and studying. One thing you should know about me is I work well with children that have special needs, and work well with larger groups of children. My skills include patience, enthusiasm, compassion and empathy.

I am currently a junior in college majoring in nursing, planning on being a nurse practitioner. I have 4 years of babysitting/nannying experience with 2 years of that working as an infant/toddler teacher at a child development center. I will make sure your child(ren) feel loved and taken care of by cooking, teaching, driving them, helping clean up, and helping grow their imaginations and love for play. I love to do arts and crafts, read, water play, cooking and baking activities, any sport, and watching movies. I am comfortable and trained on changing diapers, potty training, sleep training and techniques, bottle feeding, and introducing babies to foods. I became a caregiver because I’ve always had a passion with helping children. I used to be a teacher at KinderCare before I was pushed out. Due to over staffing, so I decided to go back to offering childcare. I’ve helped multiple parents with potty training. Their kids go home learning new things, knowing how to sing their ABC’s knowing how to count knowing how to do stuff that most kids aren’t able to do.
