I am able to provide care in your home. As a disabled veteran, I have access to Fort Riley. I am a retired federal employee wanting to care for children. I love interacting with children; playing, singing, teaching, and doing arts and crafts. I have worked with children at schools, daycares, Girl scouts and churches. I have been a nanny for multiple families over the past 10 years working full-time for several months at a time. I mostly do occasional care and have been a care provider for several families in the Junction City, Ft Riley, Manhattan and Ogden area for over 10 years.

I love working with kids because it reminds me of how amazing and exciting the world can be. I started working with kids when I was about 13 years old. I started working with kids of special needs about 4 years ago. I have been working with infants for about 4 years as well and since then I have been working with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to volunteer with the special needs community along with local events. When I'm not volunteering I enjoy reading and studying. One thing you should know about me is I work well with children that have special needs, and work well with larger groups of children. My skills include patience, enthusiasm, compassion and empathy.

I am currently a student full time at k-state. I really value the any experience I can gain in working with children for my future career. I work part time at a daycare, ranging from infants to 5 year old. I have my CPR and first aid training.

Hi! My name is Emmy, and I’m a college student at Kansas State University looking for a babysitting position. My schedule is pretty flexible aside from a few daytime classes. This semester I have classes every day, but next semester I’ll only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which will open up even more availability. I have had experience with many different customer service jobs, but something always brings me back to working with kids. I spend many hours a week volunteering at a local third-grade classroom, and every summer since I was fourteen I have worked hands-on with kids. I became a caregiver because I’ve always had a passion with helping children. I used to be a teacher at KinderCare before I was pushed out. Due to over staffing, so I decided to go back to offering childcare. I’ve helped multiple parents with potty training. Their kids go home learning new things, knowing how to sing their ABC’s knowing how to count knowing how to do stuff that most kids aren’t able to do.

Hi! Being the oldest of 3 kids, I've helped my busy mom with my 2 younger sisters from each of their births since I was 11. I'm also the oldest of first cousins and helped my aunties (mom's sister and dad's sister) with their children on separate occasions. One has 4 kids, the other has 2. With all this experience, one key skill I've acquired is patience. Knowing that every baby and every child's needs are different, I'm willing to learn and adapt to what helps them feel comfortable and safe. I'm willing to do light housekeeping and also enjoy doing crafts. I'm a lover of animals and do well with pets, personally growing up with big dogs, as long as they're friendly.
