I love children because I feel like they teach me more than I teach them. Being around kids is such a blessing as it keeps me on my toes and reminds me to wonder and question and create! It’s refreshing to be around kids. I have experience working with children from different religions, cultures, ethnicities, and abilities. I love and excel at play-based learning. I also love sitting and reading with children. I have experience in highly structured and state licensed childcare programs, so I can work with a wide range of children. I am CPR and First Aid certified for infants, toddlers, and children younger than 5. I have been trained as a mandated reporter, and I have safe sleep training as well. I am a mom myself, and I have a high standard of care for my own children.
