Nice to meet you! My name is Cailey-Marie. I am seeking an occasional care giver job in Lawrence, Kansas and the surrounding cities with ~40 miles. I love children and am going into elementary education, being currently partway through my schooling. I’m going into such a profession because I believe in the wellbeing of children, their education, their future, and their happiness. So I’m dedicated to aiding in that in any way I can. I like to try and make a positive impact in any person’s life, regardless of age, in my daily life. Hopefully I can do some of that for you. Experience wise: I work part time at Great Wolf Lodge in kid’s entertainment, so I spend my days interacting with kids of all ages, doing arts and crafts and dance parties and interactive storytime and all sorts of fun. I’ve done observation hours in various daycares, elementaries, Read more middles schools, and high schools as a part of my major; accepting challeges from the littles to race them during recess in the daycare and learning phonics games from kids in the elementary. I also have three cousins currently ages 4-7 who I love to absolute death, and have babysat them on occasion for the past few years. And then last year I was a teacher’s assistant for two weeks in Germany, assisting years 8-12 in their English classes (answering questions, helping with essays and presentations, reading with them, etc), so I have experience with adolescence and mild tutoring as well. I’m punctual, incredibly patient, compassionate, creative, and dedicated. I have a working car and valid driver’s license. I’ve held a cpr certification in the past and am willing to renew. In my free time I like music, reading, crocheting, theatre, and going on walks. I’ve had dogs my whole life, with cats and reptiles too, so animals will be far from a problem! I can assist around the house, cook/prepare snacks, take the kids out to the park or other fun place, do crafts, tell stories, help with schoolwork, and whatever else is needed. As I mentioned I have a full-time job, so this would be on a part-time/occassional basis. One time ones as well.
