I have 'retired' from the Corporate World recently and although I have a BA degree, I have no desire to work for another corporation. We have two precious grandsons ages 3 and 5 who are with us a lot and I love being with them watching the world through their eyes, ears and voices. It is very difficult for parents to feel secure with being away from their children and that is why I want to offer myself, my energy and ability to help parents with a need for a backup, date night or even overnight away stays. When I was aged 12-15 we lived in Hawaii on Hickam AFB and it was not uncommon for me to stay at people's houses to take care of their children while they went to the mainland. I was a very responsible teenager and I loved what I was doing. I am AED Read more and First Aid Certified (recently re-certified) and can deal with any emergency that may arise. I am artistic with painting and love to do crafts. Every child has an artistic ability waiting to come out whether through art or music. I have a clean driving record, no tickets, and no accidents. I have a clean background and even though I am no longer with my company (12 years employed) we were subject to continuous yearly checks. I am patient, kind, able to diffuse any temper tantrum and alleviate fears, real or imagined. I love to read to kids and put puzzles together. I am also an animal lover and pets are an important part of families - so, no fear in that respect. I hope I meet all your requirements and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
