Pediatric RN employed full time at Stormont Vail Hospital. I graduated with my BSN last May after doing a 6 week long capstone in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and have been working at Stormont Vail since August. As a Pediatric nurse, I occasionally float to the NICU and take care of babies there. I grew up in a large family and had 2 younger sisters. Children have always been a part of my life. I babysat a friend's 2 children last summer (they were both grade school aged). During college, I volunteered one summer at a daycare helping mostly with 4 and 5 year olds and I have volunteered 4 years at a week long summer church camp for girls from the ages of 9-17. This summer I will be helping again for my 5th year. I also have 15 months of experience working with children with special Read more needs, I did in-home care for two children (aged 7 and 13) who have complex congenital diseases.
