Hi, my name is Tawny, I'm 20 years old, and I'm an Early Childhood Education major. I'm a very patient and compassionate person, and I'm great with kids. Some information about me as that I'm a very quiet, but engaging person, and I love reading, and encouraging kids to read. I'm also really interested in theatre and art. My childcare approach is very influenced by the RIE and Montessori philosophies. I have three years of experience babysitting and providing full time care for disabled and non-disabled children ages 5 months to 13 years. The disabilities I have experience with include autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. I have also completed the Red Cross's advanced child care training course, and the First Aid/CPR/AED course. I do not have my driver's license quite yet, but I do have very reliable transportation.
