As a nanny, part of my job is to provide the children with stimulating activities and to follow the parents rules. I have nannied before and sadly they moved two years ago but my duties included housekeeping responsibilities, being a positive role model to the kids, keeping the kids safe, being one time, and of course communication with parents which is key because parents want to know how their kids are, and when I used to nanny the parents and I would always chat before I left.
