My name is Caroline. I'm a 19 year old second year full time college student in Bowling Green at the Community College, but am transferring to Western KY University in August. I recently moved to an apartment with my best friend in Bowling Green and am enjoying it. I take 3 college classes online and 1 on Tuesday/Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:45 so my schedule is very flexible! I've spent many years caring for children of all ages. As a young teenager, I babysat kids in the evenings and weekends as needed. My first year in college I was living at home in Frankfort and I nannied for the entire school year for three children in three different schools! I picked each of them up from their respective schools daily, took them to any extracurricular activities, brought them home, started dinner, cleaned up the home, and helped the children with any Read more homework or projects. I'd prepare meals and snacks and meet whatever needs they had. Their parents worked long hours out of town and I sometimes felt like a substitute parent, which was great because I loved those kiddos! Prior to this nanny position, I worked at the Franklin County Public Schools in the After School Program where I assisted the lead teacher in planning daily programming and activities for school age children (K-5th). That was a fun job, but the nanny position was a dream and I had to accept it. So glad I did! I miss those kids and am looking forward to returning to child care so I can make an impact on and provide loving care to children - something I value deeply. Sincerely, Caroline
