I am a proud mom of a 16 year old son that has been the greatest blessing of my life. I worked full-time as a baby-sitter when my husband was in the Navy and then assistant/secretary for about 7 years, until Isaiah arrived. I stayed home with Isaiah until he began school and I then became a volunteer at his elementary school which led into a part-time assistant position, mostly in grades K - 3. I baby-sat for one of the teachers that I grew close with after her maternity leave until school let out for the summer. I have nearly a dozen nieces and nephews whom I love as my own and have cared for as such. I was a babysitter for many different familes on many different occasions. I do miss the laughter and sweetness of little ones around my knees and believe if I found the right fit, I could offer a family much needed peace of mind in caring for their child or children. I become invested in the childrens lives I am privelaged enough to be apart of - I grow to love them and care for them as I would want anyone caring for my child. I am looking to add to the new chapter in my life. My family will always come first, but I believe with the new time I am finding on my hands, (thanks to my newly independent, "getting ready to drive on my own" son) I can put my experience to good use in another family as well. I am happily married, I am a Christian, I am honest and loyal. My flaws are many, I eat too much, I can be overly emotional, I interrupt people when I don't mean to, and I could list a million more. But, if our paths were to cross, and I can fulfill your need..... You will never wonder if your child is safe and in the hands of a woman that will treat them like she does her own.
