Finding a reliable babysitter/ nanny is very frustrating. I'm a mother of a very active 5 year old so I know how it is. I have been babysitting for years along with raising son. I am CPR and first aide certified through the American Red Cross. I believe it's important to start teaching manners and educating children at a young age their ABC's and numbers. My son was able to write his first and last name, count to 100, and read level one books before entering kindergarten. ( he did not attend preschool!) I've been babysitting since I was a teenager, with being the oldest of 4 other siblings with age gaps as wide as 19 years! My latest job was taking care of the most adorable set of twin 22 month old boys, I was unbelievably busy!! I enjoyed every moment of it. Also, when I babysit you don't Read more have to worry about coming home to a messy home. I'm probably just a couple steps down from OCD. Not to mention, nothing is worse than seeing a messy home from working all day. I've dealt with that myself on too many occasions to count. No one wants to work all day just to work some more when they get home.
