My name is Abby Carter. I am 20 years old. I am currently in my second year at the University of Kentucky. I am majoring in education, and I am planning on pursuing a teaching career. I love being around children. I have always been a babysitter. I started out watching my two younger brothers. Who happen to be adopted so I am used to being around children from all different backgrounds and cultures. I have had many small babysitting jobs throughout the years. From watching people's children that I go to church with to children that my parents work with their families. I feel as though I am very qualified to watch children of a wide variety of ages. I had a job last summer where I babysit all day long every day while the parents were at work. I was available to take the child to the pool, Read more practices, etc. I feel very comfortable watching children and I feel as though all the chances I get to babysit will help to contribute to making me a better teacher when I start my career.
