I'm a young 54 year old woman :) Ever since I was young, I've had compassion, admiration, and love for children and the elderly. Born in New York, I've lived in beautiful Kentucky for the past 35 years. Truly, I am magical with children. I don't know why, I just know that I am! I have earned my BBA and Master's degree from the University of Kentucky. I have owned two businesses. I have been a trainer in different settings. I have trained groups, departments, individuals on communication skills, dispute resolution, human relations,etc. I have also been a faculty member teaching computer applications, communications, human relations, and the like. What I absolutely LOVE the most is people, specifically children OF ALL AGES! Many have called me the "child whisperer" because of a natural connection that I have with children. I am NOT a "babysitter". I want to stimulate a child's Read more learning. Even as infants, they can respond to the gentle voice and love of others. I have volunteered for years in tutoring children and helping families with their children. Now that I am retired, I would like to continue caring for children, but on a regular basis. I will gladly take your child/ren to the public library, to a play center, to the YMCA or other similar places, if that is what you would like. I find that caring for a child is a privilege.
