Hi! My name is Emma Kate. I’m a Lexington native and speech therapist with 5 years of experience working in pediatrics and 13+ of babysitting and other paid childcare jobs. I absolutely love working with kids and am passionate about providing opportunities for high-quality, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate play and engagement. I have experience working with kids from birth to 16 in a professional setting, and I’m also a feeding specialist and Certified Lactation Consultant so I am especially comfortable navigating mealtimes with little ones under a year, or with your picky eater, which can be really tricky! I cannot provide formal services in the context of babysitting, but rest assured all of my knowledge and experience (and pretend play expertise!) will be put to good use during my time with your kiddo(s)!
