I am a full-time Caregiver for a Senior Living Facility and I have been working with seniors now for nearly a year. Prior to this, I was a Youth Care Associate for a children’s behavioral facility for nearly a year. This is my “professional” experience. However, I am also a mother to 5 wonderful children. Humbly speaking, my children are well-behaved, walk with hearts of love, and are for the most part-happy and thriving. Prior to our family falling apart, I was a stay at home mother for the better part of 15 years. As scary as it was for me having our lives just crumble right in front of me, everything now on my shoulders, no credit, some work experience but massive gaps in employment history, I had nothing and all efforts seemed hopeless. Though the wait was so intense, I trusted my Heavenly Father and He led me Read more right to my “professional” passion, which is why I work where I do now. I am fulfilled in the work I do. I am a living testimony that you can love your work and not just “have a job”. Bottom line, I walk simply knowing I never need a reason to love or care for anyone, child or adult. I want to add that in the 15 years I was blessed to be a stay at home mother, I made extra money babysitting other families children off and on and therefore have plenty of babysitting experience as well. I am also CPR and FIRST AID certified. I believe cleanliness is next to Godliness. I’m not walking out of your home without making something better. I am very well organized and detail-oriented. I’ve not been diagnosed OCD, but I’ve personally considered the possibility.
