I recently graduated from Alice Lloyd College with two bachelor's degrees (double major) in English and Sociology. I'm taking a year off before attending law school at NKU in August of 2017. I've decided to spend the time before I move babysitting because it is a very rewarding job. I fully believe that children are our future and love watching them learn and grow each day. Before deciding to attend law school, I had a goal of becoming an elementary teacher. Now I have decided to become either a Family Attorney or a Child Custody Attorney, with the goal of assisting children legally. I have plenty of experience babysitting, as I am a big sister to three (now aged 10-15) wonderful kids. I have babysat my own siblings, as well as plenty of cousins, a neighbor with severe medical problems, and have provided care to my elderly grandmother on several Read more occasions. I spent the summer of 2013 working for Pathways Inc. one on one with a special needs teenager with the goal of lessening her social anxiety. In addition to this, I have spent a lot of time volunteering in a special needs classroom in Louisa, KY. I also was previously a CNA, and spent several months working at a nursing home in Louisa. I love to spend time playing outside, playing inside games, coloring, and learning. I am also comfortable babysitting young children or babies. I can also cook meals, and do not mind caring for pets as well. Changing diapers, handling spit ups, and caring for sick children are all part of the job.
