Hello parents! I am a 21 year old art student at UofL looking for a child care position. I've worked with children as a student aide at the University of Louisville Early Learning Campus for about 9 months before the school year ended. I worked in classrooms with kids ranging from 1.5 to 5 years old, and my main objective was to help guide their social emotional growth while keeping them safe. While at this position, I earned my CPR and first aide certification, and maintained on going job training simultaneously. I'm looking forward to making the jump from school to home settings. I am also currently taking a developmental psychology course at UofL. This has been a great help in understanding the minds of children all ages, and is in my opinion invaluable information in the field of child care.
