I worked as a CNA doing home health for several years and in 1997, I started working at a special needs school as a nurse in the clinic. The students ranged in ages from 3 yrs. to 22 yrs. and all had severe special needs such as profoundly mentally handicapped and severe autism. I worked there for 7 school yrs. until I had my last daughter who is now 10. In addition to the work at the school, I also worked as an independent contractor for FL Medicaid Waiver doing respite for some of the students from my school. I had several clients, all children under the age of 10, with varied needs. Most needed total care as well as tube feeding and medications. I did that part time and sat for a teacher's infant son full time until we moved here to KY in 2005. I have many different sleeping places for the little ones from cribs, pack n plays, and toddler beds. I have a lot of experience in infant care as well as toddlers. I watch 3 little boys in my home during the week full time. All are about 3 yrs old. We go out and about a couple times a week to playgroups, story times, parks, or the zoo depending on the weather. I work on preschool activities with those who are ready and have a good sized fenced in back yard for kiddos to play in. I am located in Okolona near the Jefferson Mall.
