When I was 16, my brother was deployed to Afghanistan leaving behind 4 kiddos all under the age of 5. With no one to care for them, my parents took them in. As a learning experience, my mother put the baby's crib in my room. I was miserable at the time, but it taught me to be responsible. Ever since then, I have had a warm heart geared for children. Now, as a 25 year old, I have a 2 year old myself and a loving husband. I am a stay at home mom who loves being outside, singing, and cooking. As a veteran myself, and currently serving in the Reserves (one weekend a month), I am trained to always be on my toes and keep one eye open.
