Hi there, my name is Ava! (: Babysitting was my first ever job as a middle schooler, but since then, I have obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology. I've taken courses in Developmental Psychology & for my senior capstone I studied Child Psychopathology. I currently work in pediatric therapy, primarily helping children with autism & other developmental disorders. The company I am currently employed with is moving locations, so I thought I would like to explore childcare again. Now that I have professional experience working with children of all developmental & behavioral levels, & have also spent many a day volunteering in my mother's preschool classroom, I feel that I have a valuable skill set that will allow me to excel when it comes to the care, growth, & happiness of your child/children. In my free time, I love to be out in nature with my dog (great with pets!), Read more paint (would love to do arts & crafts with your kiddos!), Irish dance (energetic!), & run my book club (great organizational skills & will read with your kiddos!).
