I've been a caregiver for most of my life. I enjoy taking care of young children, whatever age, up to taking care of the elderly. I am presently taking care of my mother who in 2012 had a major fall that changed both of our lives. She busted the back of her head causing a hemorraghic stroke when she fell between her car and the carport wall hit the concrete. She lost her short term memory, her ability to read and was diagnosed with Moderate Dementia on January 15, 2013. Our life has changed and now our roles have changed. I'm the mother and she is the daughter. Throughout my life growing up, I babysat for various friends, family and friends of friends for extra money. I love children and I enjoy being around the elderly; there are things that we can all learn from them. Each one of us has a responsibility in taking care of those who took care of us while we were growing up. It doesn't mean to put them in a nursing home and forget about them. In the past I have had CPR training and willing to take it onces again. I'm honest, hardworking, reliable, straightforward and responsible. I have reliable transportation with insurance coverage; I've never been arrested; no criminal background; don't use drugs or smoke. Whether your loved one is a baby, young child or an elderly parent, I'm willing to take care of them just like they were my own. I guarantee that they will be well taken care of and if there is something I do wrong I expect you to tell me how you wanted done.
