I'm mid-40's, I started babysitting as a teenager and then got my Bachelor's degree in Child Development from the Univ. of Texas (Austin). After graduation I was a lead teacher in a 2-yr-old class for 3 years before leaving for Poland where I was a church-planting missionary for 9 years. Since returning to the States I've been in various management positions, but was recently laid off. I'm available for babysitting, part-time nanny, pet care and even elderly care. I am comfortable with newborn infants up through teenagers and can juggle multiple kids comfortably. I've helped elderly neighbors with various tasks, can sit and visit for hours, and cared for my mom in her last days so I'm comfortable if you need someone to sit with an aging parent or help with getting them to appointments.
