I am a certified secondary education English teacher that has worked with both secondary and primary age children. I adore children of all ages! I have recently become disenchanted with the school system and have decided to branch out and start working with children on a more personal level. I am CPR certified and I have a degree from LSU in Baton Rouge certifying me to teach both English and Social Studies. I am currently pursuing my certification for math. I would be an ideal tutor for your precious little ones! I grew up in a very large family. I have five younger sisters. My youngest sister just turned ten back in November. I spent a good deal of my childhood taking care of her and watching her grow. I currently have eight younger cousins all under the age of ten that I have the privilege to interact with regularly. Read more I am a very tidy housekeeper and I consider myself a highly organized person. Pet are not a problem! I have two furry kids of my own! I am a fairly good cook and specialize in catering to picky eaters. :) I neither drink nor smoke. I have a fantastic driving record and I believe in spending a large amount of time outdoors. I think everything can be turned into a fun learning experience if you put some thought and care into it. I am used to monitoring between 15 and 30 children at any given time, so I am not adverse to children having playmates over. I can provide multiple character and work references if needed as well as a copy of my resume and transcripts from my various educational institutes. My final day on my current job is May 20th, 2014.
