Hello, my name is Karen. I am 29 years old. I have a 10 year old daughter and 9 month old son. I currently am a stay at home mom lots of time on my hands. I am CPR certified as I was recently a nursing student at University of Lafayette at Louisiana in the RN program in 2015. We were required to take a CPR class, drug screening test & background check . I became pregnant that summer after the clinical and have been staying home since with my little one. I have lots of experience down with my two children. During the summer of 2014, while not working or in school, I cared for a close friend of mines two children. One was a year old and the other was 7. I also had my daughter who was 8 at the time. I had them with me Monday-Saturday Read more from 8 am-4 pm. I plan to further my studies in nursing once I am comfortable leaving my son with a sitter during the day. My daughters sleepovers always tend to be in our home. Her friends are always wanting to come because they have so a great time with us. We try to do activities where we are all involved and take them out to eat or play out of the house as well as baking or making treats with them. I enjoy their company. Kids really are so much and they grow so fast. I am also looking into the Child Care program that is offered at SLCC since I enjoy caring for children so much. It is something I could see myself doing as a career in my future. Safety, precaution, and cleanliness are number one top priorities with me. They all promote health and well being with children and adults. I am constantly off and on cleaning and tidying up during the day, so I can promise your child/children will be in a safe clean environment. We reside in a quiet neighborhood with super friendly neighbors. There is absolutely no smoking in our household(no one rescinding in the household uses any tobacco products whatsoever). We have pets who stay outdoors(one pup comes in a night only to sleep on her doggie bed in our living room). My schedule is pretty much open and very flexible since I stay home, so I'll be able to work around your schedule. If you take a chance on me, I promise I won't let you down.
