I have helped people with their children since I was 7 Years old. By 10 I was The official paid family sitter, including being left with up to 7 children for up to 3 days at a time. B14 I was listed in our housing departments monthly newsletter and became the regular babysitter for a few families. I have 4 children of my own, ranging from 5-22 years old and I am happy that so far my adult children are decent, hardworking, and caring people. I also worked at a daycare for about 6 months and I have been through hard times that led to living in a few community living situations. It never took long for people to see my interactions with all the children and I ended up being the go-to person for advice and help with their children as well as cooking. Even though I was never Read more able to finish any college credits(not for lack of trying), and am out of practice with acedemic work, I do still have a college I.Q. so I'm sure I could help with homework. I normally use every everyday things and situations as teaching opportunities which works quite well. They learn without even realizing it. My first 3 children knew how to say things in 3 languages by 2 years old. English, Spanish, and sign language. Unfortunately even though I am Mexican and my mother in law was deaf, we never became fluent in either. In conclusion, I have always loved children (especially babies) and they seem to gravitate towards me even though a lot of times I'm actually stricter and stand more firm on things than their parents. I believe I would be a great decision to look after your children.
