Hello! My name is Kayleigh. I'm currently a freshman at Loyola University. I have moved down for the academic year from Ohio for college, and am looking for babysitting opportunities in New Orleans. I have 8 years of babysitting experience, caring for children ranging from newlyborn to 15 years old. I do not have continuous access to a car, but I am able and willing to walk and take the streetcar. I have found that I'm very good with children, and can relate well with teenagers, due to my positive, easy-going nature and energetic approach to new situations. My usual childcare techniques: -Entertainment: music (I play guitar and sing), arts and crafts, trips to nearby parks/children's attractions, storytelling (both reading from books and making up my own), television or movies (for a set amount of time, according to the parent's limitiations) -Dealing with negative behaviour (according to child's age and Read more situation): Time outs (5-15 minutes), quiet time, temporary restriction from an activity (example, no tv for the rest of the day), sending the child to their room in extreme situations
