I am a sophomore at LSU looking for a part-time babysitting job. I have 3 years of babysitting experience with children 1-7 years old, but am open to all ages! I babysat 2 kids this past summer (ages 3 and 5) for the 3 weeks they were home. In addition, I volunteered for a month during my past 3 summers at St. Michael’s Special School in New Orleans. I learned a lot and got to have lots of hands on experience with kids that have many different disabilities (Down syndrome, autism, SMS, etc.). I also started my own volunteer club at my highschool (Dominican) to go to their after school program. We would bring supplies for crafts, sports, or anything else they were excited (& able) to do and spend about 2 hours there. It was a great experience that truly taught me many important skills when dealing with not Read more only special needs children, but all kids! I can drive the kid(s) to any activities, after-school snacks, etc.! I will focus all my attention on treating your child as you would; they will be in great hands:) Please consider me!!
