Why I Love Being a Sitter I love being a sitter because it allows me to combine my passion for caregiving with my background in education. As a former teacher, I’ve had the privilege of working with children from elementary through high school, and I truly enjoy supporting their growth, creativity, and development in a safe and nurturing environment. Being a sitter gives me the opportunity to build meaningful connections with families and provide peace of mind through dependable and compassionate care. Experience With a strong foundation in education, I’ve spent several years teaching and tutoring students of various ages and academic levels. My experience extends beyond the classroom—I’ve also provided care for adults with mental health conditions and stroke recovery needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and daily support. In addition, I work part-time as a caterer, specializing in diverse dietary needs including vegan, halal, and allergy-sensitive meals.
