Most recently, summer 2016, I was in-home nanny/trainer for an 7-10 month old. My duties included strength training, walks, reading, and meals. During 2012-2013, I worked as a nanny for a psychologist in Idaho. The infant was 2 months and I was with her until she turned 18 months. I was a foster mom for the state of LA for two years. Cared for twins, age 6, overnight and after school/holidays, and weekends. Also, I spent some time working in a daycare. Shelia has cared for our son during his first year, and we are extremely thankful to have found her to care for him in our home rather than put him in daycare. She is great with him, even on occasional cranky days. She is a sweet and caring person, and has helped our son through some critical developmental milestones such as eating solids, crawling, starting to stand, practicing words and signing in ways that my husband and I would not even known to try. Although we shy away from too many electronics activities with our son, she had some great infant applications on a Kindle Fire that we are now sold on. Shelia has also been extremely flexible to help us on weekends or when we had family in town. We appreciate that we can trust her completely with our son. He loves his daily walks, talks, hugs, and general time with her, and we could not have found a better caregiver, and overall great person to work with.
