Hi there! My name is Artemis and I am a 22 year individual with a passion for working with kids. I am college educated and am coming out of a Americorps service year where I worked in two schools teaching kids ranging in age from 4-12 directing them through gardening and ecology classes. It was this service year that has propelled my interest in working with kids to provide a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive. I am a creative, but dependable individual with proficiency in hiking, meal preparation, art projects, chess, gardening and some exceptional make-believe skills. I have led children through guided mural projects, garden building and maintaining, and girl scout trips. I strive to encourage the innate curiosity in the kids I work with while also providing structure and engaging activities.
