Nice to meet you! I'm Tauvari Udomsay, I'm currently 21 years old pursuing a Bachelors in Communication with a minor in Asian American Studies at University of Massachusetts Boston. I've always had a love for children and have been the "family babysitter" as the eldest daughter, niece and granddaughter, with over 10 little cousins that just keep on coming and a younger sister about 6 years younger than me, I have had a lot of experience dealing with many different ages. I also have a variety of experience in different family dynamics and cultures as I've had the pleasure to be babysitter for a diverse range of families! I was a tutor at Bellingham High school for all 4 years and became a tutor for the freshmen at UMass Boston. I also love to play with children doing all sorts of activities especially arts and crafts and outdoor activities, such Read more as yard games and winter fun like snowman building and sledding. Education is definitely a key factor into my childcare as well, I believe learning shouldn't stop after the classroom! Anything having to do with their current curriculum and being able to make it fun in order to help develop a children's interests and skills early on is something I'm very passionate about and absolutely love doing. I'm a huge advocator for helping children develop their voice and explore their creativity at a young age, putting a huge emphasis on teaching kids about healthy ways to cope with negative emotions, helping them find their voice and communicate their thoughts and feelings especially throughout this troubling time. I believe it's important for children to be able to use their time as children to explore their interests and creative minds while still having the most fun possible because in the end a childhood should be just that, being a child. Childcare is not only providing a healthy environment for children but helping them lean more into their learning and explore their creative & curious nature! I'm also very big into cooking, I love to try out different recipes and new creative ways to incorporate healthy eating into a low cost everyday agenda. I believe all aspects of a child's care can help a them implement a strong foundation regarding the relationship they have with themselves and the world around them!
