I am a first-year medical student with aspirations to work in pediatrics. My passion for children began at a young age. For years, I have babysat children, aged from 3 months - 13 years old. I recently moved here from Boston, MA where I babysat for a number of families within the Harvard Business School community. I am passionate about connecting with children and supporting their growth and development. I am an active, positive, responsible, kind individual. I enjoy my time outdoors but also love to spend time reading and playing indoors with children. I love to be creative and teach children to be the same. With an extensive education, I also have worked as a tutor for young children and enjoy helping children with their homework and school projects, as well as essential reading, writing, and math skills. I became passionate about the field of medicine when I began Read more volunteering at Boston Children's Hospital, which I continued to do for about 7 years until the program could not continue due to COVID-19 hospital restrictions. I volunteered in the oncology and hematology inpatient units, where I took care of patients and their families. I am there to make them comfortable and have the best experience possible. I spend most of my time playing games, making crafts, and leading a number of group activities; I am always looking for ways to connect with patients and make them as happy as possible. My experiences babysitting, volunteering, and working in the lab really drive my dream to work as a pediatrician. I am BLS/CPR certified.
