I'm a college student majoring in nursing. I have two summers of live- in nanny experience, and have done numerous hours of babysitting . One summer spent with a Brookline, MA Family with toddler twins & a new born and the second summer on Martha's Vineyard for a ten and thirteen year old. I adore children and welcome the chance to influence them with the optimism and joy that I've been fortunate to be raised with. I took a GAP year before starting college and traveled to Africa for four months with a British program called GAP Medic and was able to round and train with nurses and Doctors in a Hospital in Iringa, Tanzania. The next 5 months I spent in Paris France studying French at the Sorbonne University and living with a host family. Raised in Kennebunk, Me by a loving Mom & Dad. I have two brothers. Read more My older brother is in his third year at the United States Naval Academy, my younger brother is a junior at a private high school in Portland, ME and my younger sister is in middle school. Love animals, have two dogs and spent a summer helping on a friends organic farm. I attended an all girls YMCA summer camp for eight years of my childhood summers and was also a CIT there. Travel is one of my hobbies and I love photographing and journalising my adventures. I've traveled to Peru, Galapagos Islands, Mexico , Africa, France, Switzerland, England, Greece, Italy and the Caribbean. I will be entering into a Naval ROTC program in the fall at my University and my goal is to become a Naval Nurse and serve on the USS Mercy Ship to provide humanitarian aid around the globe.
