I have always known I would end up doing a job that involved children. I started babysitting when I was very young, and quickly realized what my passion and strengths were. I have found a job that I am excited to go to in the morning, a rewarding job that I can feel good about at the end of the day, and a job that allows me to do what I love. Babysitting to me is similar to teaching, except no state standards or assessments! I get to spend time with children, watch them grow, learn from day to day, and provide a safe fun environment where they can enjoy their time. I love being creative about what to do while I'm babysitting. Whether that is creating a new game to play, organizing a craft/hands on activity, or even just thinking of a simple quiet choice, it is always something Read more different.
