I worked in a day care when I was in my early 20s, I helped to raise my little brothers growing up back home in Cape Verde, I have 4 nephews and 3 nieces, between the ages of 20 and 3 months. I believe that kids are little adults with their own ideas, quirks, and personalities, I love to listen to them share their stories, I believe that kids should be allowed to be who they are and express their unique personality in their own way. I am CPR certified, and I have volunteered in homeless shelters with Horizon for the Homeless, and School on Wheels. I have been a Big Sister and also help with the raising of my nieces and nephews.
