I began working with children at 16, getting my start babysitting for my parents friends. My first job was in the Childcare Center at Lifetime Athletic where I worked for 3 years with children ages 6 months to 12 years, organizing and supervising play, helping facilitate birthday parties and tending to minor injuries. In college I worked as a preschool teachers' assistant and as an 'For Kids Only' Associate at a Equinox sports club where I gained many occasional and regular jobs sitting for families I met there. I have the most experience with ages 6 months to 7 years. I have sleep-training, and bedtime routine experience, and am comfortable with meal prep and light pet care. Some of my favorite activities to do with kids include arts and crafts, cooking, and reading books, and watching Disney movies! I love talking with children, getting to know how they see the Read more world, letting them tell me all about their newest favorite thing. I prefer to engage in games and activities centered around learning, and creativity, and believe that everything can be a teachable moment! I am open to working with families of all backgrounds, shapes and sizes, and am experienced with working with families that have different cultural or religious background than myself. As a Black queer woman I will prioritize working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ and families. When I'm not babysitting, I'm a dog mom to a 4 year old rescue pup (Labrastaff) named Harley. We're originally he and I moved here from Atlanta(home) together last year! I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a BA in Sociology and I currently work remotely for a nonprofit technical assistant agency as the Sr. Communications Associate.
