I have worked at after-school programs around Boston as a volunteer at Peace through Play for 2 years and at Brookline Public Schools (Pierce School) as a teacher's assistant for 6 months. In my position at Peace through Play, I taught children problem solving skills and conflict resolution through games and activities. I had experience working with groups of 10 to 20 children between the ages of 4 and 12 and worked as a team with school staff and other Peace through Play volunteers. In my position at Pierce School, I filled many rolls. I monitored lunch ad recess, escorted kindergartners to and from their buses, worked in the English Language Learner classrooms, and acted as a substitute teacher.
