I am currently in the process of becoming an RBT and working with kids on the spectrum who have been diagnosed with Autism. With my background in Psychology I've became interested in working with children, my biggest motivator is to become a school social worker and working on gaining experience working with children is my current goal. I can help with light housekeeping, laundry, making snacks, homework assignments. I enjoy spending time with children reading books, making snacks, dancing and singing, making them laugh and smile. I've worked with children before through the AmeriCorps Jumpstart program implementing early childhood curriculum by promoting children's literacy and language skills. I worked along with corps members to plan and implement in classroom activities such as group/one on one reading sessions, arts and crafts and puzzles.
