Hi there! My name is Nechama and I work as a full-time first grade teacher at a small private school in Jamaica Plain. I recently relocated from Philadelphia, where I taught kindergarten at a charter school and earned my Masters in Urban and Elementary Education from the University of Pennsylvania. I love spending time with children and getting to be part of their academic and emotional development. I have experience with children ages 1 and up, and have tutored, babysat, and now teach. Personally, I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, parks, dogs, and spending time with my friends and family. I am located in Back Bay and am excited to get to know families in the neighborhood or nearby as I acclimate to a new city and begin to call it home :)
