About Me: Hello! My name is Alexis Pedersen, and I am a psychology major with a minor in public health at Boston University. I have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for them to learn and grow. Why I Love Being a Sitter: I love babysitting because I enjoy helping children explore their creativity, build confidence, and feel supported. Whether it's through engaging activities, homework help, or simply being a positive presence, I love making a difference in a child’s day. My Experiences: Teaching Assistant at Boston University Children’s Center – I assist with classroom management, facilitate learning activities, and help children develop social and cognitive skills in a structured setting. Volunteer Counselor at Camp Good Grief – I work with children ages 4-6 who are processing grief, providing emotional support, fun activities, and a comforting environment.
