Hi! I'm Lawrence and I'm a full-time private music instructor. Although I am new to babysitting, I have experience working with kids of all ages as a teacher. Most of my students are between 5-13 years old. My experience as a babysitter comes from watching my 3 year old nephew occasionally on weekends. An advantage to hiring me is that I could teach your kids a thing or two about music while I watch them, for no additional charge. Whether they are a complete beginner or a gifted amateur, I'm sure that I could teach them some things. And have fun while we're at it! I'm also an avid chess player, so if that's something that interests you, I could also teach chess lessons for no additional charge. As a babysitter, I will prioritize the safety and well-being of your children. As a teacher, I like to consider myself easy-going, Read more yet intentional. I am NOT overly strict, but I also won't let my students get too far off the rails. The goal is for the kids to stay focused and engaged, without too much pressure. I am also a substitute teacher at a high school, which has given me plenty of opportunity to learn how to be strict when necessary. But, I prefer to give kids some leeway to express themselves and explore. The reason I am looking for a babysitter job, frankly, is because I need the money to make ends meet over the summer while school is out-of-session. I would love to put my skills and expertise to good use!
