My name is Lea Jensen (she/hers), and I am currently a first-year graduate student at Boston College School of Social Work. I recently graduated from a small liberal arts school in Connecticut with a dual degree in Political Science and Clinical Psychology. In addition to my academic background, I have a strong interest in childcare. I have extensive experience babysitting since my sophomore year of high school, and I am passionate about providing high-quality childcare. I have cared for children of various ages, from infants to teenagers, and enjoy engaging in all sorts of activities, whether it's playing board games indoors or spending time outdoors. I currently work as a clinical intern at a women’s shelter in Boston. In my role, I provide therapy to children and collaborate with parents to ensure the success of their child's therapy. Additionally, I volunteer in the infant and toddler classes at a shelter, Read more gaining valuable insights into child development and caregiving for young ones in need. I have a reliable car, which is beneficial for transportation needs. I am currently seeking opportunities for a full-time babysitting position from May to September 2024.
