Hi, my name is Debbee I currently am a behavior therapist at Nashoba Learning Group in Bedford, MA. I have been working there for just over a year. Before that I worked at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown for three years. I also spent time as a nanny for three beautiful young girls, ages 3,5, and 9. I was fortunate to watch these girls grow over the last three years while I have cared them. While at Perkins, I spent my afternoons babysitting for a great family and their 9month old son. I am a graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelors degree in Childhood studies, Teacher Cert. k-8. I also just got my masters at UMASS Boston this past spring in Applied behavior Analysis and passed my BCBA exam in August. I grew up with a passion with working and being with kids. I started babysitting Read more with my sister when I was to young to alone and then at the age of 12 took the reigns and started to babysit neighbors. I knew from then children would be a big part of my life and I wanted to make a career out of it when I got older. I babysat/nannied for all age ranges through high school and college. I spent three years in the public schools working 1 on 1 with children with learning disabilities. Furthermore, small group instruction and support for a variety of students. Though schools are were my heart lies, I have continued my career working with kids in a different way by nannying. I truly enjoy watching children learn and grow. Watching them become their own person is an amazing thing and I feel lucky to be part of it. I am an extremely caring, flexible and dependable person.
