The first child i baby sat, i was just 12 years old and i watched her from when her mother returned to work after birth until she started kindergarten two years ago. I’ve always had very maternal characteristics so i knew babysitting this child wouldn’t be a difficult task. As i grew older the mother told her coworkers that i watched her daughter for so long and they began sending me their children also. One summer i set up a whole schedule for all of the kids which included snack time, activities, a nap if needed and by the end of the summer all of the kids were able to count and do their full ABC’s perfectly! I enjoy seeing children happy and healthy and it warms my heart to know i am the one who is helping them and well as helping their parents.
