I have loved working with children ever since my parents denied me the younger sibling I so ardently begged for when I was a child myself. I am currently a fourth year medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, living in gramercy. In the past I have worked with children in numerous capacities. Prior to medical school, I worked as a tutor, teacher, and mentor to students at Brighton High School in Boston as part of an AmeriCorps program. I worked at the Early Emotional Development Program at Washington University School of Medicine, a child psychiatric clinical research lab, for two years during my undergraduate career at Washington University in St. Louis. There, childcare for children, from infancy through adolescence, who came in for therapy sessions or to participate in studies was one of my primary responsibilities. I also worked as a tutor with Each One Teach One, with Read more which I taught science and math to 4th and 5th graders at Ford Elementary School in St. Louis. I was also a Camp Counselor back in high school at Cheviot Hills Day Camp and Camp Harmony in Los Angeles. My babysitting experience began in middle school with cousins and ever since I have babysat intermittently. I am excited to expand my babysitting experience even further and feel extremely confident in my ability to work with children of all ages given these varied experiences. I am CPR certified and have undergone concussion training.
