My name is Sophie. I am a sophomore at Sturgis Charter Public School. I enjoy learning new things, swimming, kayaking, and helping others. When I was just 10 years old, I began to volunteer at the Osterville Village Library, specifically in the children's room. There, I would read to the children and create fun activities to do with them. Next, I volunteered at the Mass Audubon Wellfleet Day Camp for kids. There, I went on hikes and enjoyed the outdoors while learning about nature with kids from various age groups. Last summer, I worked at the Craigville Beach Association.
