I became a caregiver because I’ve always been drawn to helping and guiding children. As the oldest in my family, I naturally took on the role of caring for my younger sister and cousins, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to be a positive role model. That early experience grew into a genuine passion for childcare. My background as a swim instructor further strengthened my caregiving skills. Teaching children in the pool required me to stay calm under pressure, keep safety as my top priority, and find creative, encouraging ways to help kids build confidence and learn new skills. These same qualities carry over into babysitting, where I focus on creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I believe what makes me good at caregiving is the combination of responsibility and warmth I bring to every situation.
