I am a First Grade teacher in Newton and have been teaching Elementary Education since 2012. I started babysitting in high school, and I have worked at various day and sleep away camps over the summers. I grew up with golden retrievers so I'm very comfortable with pets. For my interests, I enjoy doing anything outdoors, reading, cooking, and traveling. I've been to 23 countries and 5 continents! I received my Bachelor's degree in Spanish with minors in Education and Psychology from the Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. During my undergraduate years, I studied abroad for a semester at the University of Seville in Sevilla, Spain. I later earned a Masters in teaching from Smith College.
