My name is Kiani, I am 29 years old. I was born and raised in Boston Ma, and still reside. I was a student at Quincy college, majoring drama theatre arts. I am huge fan of art, music, poetry, Swimming, museums, cooking, and most of All my favorite Children’s book is, ( “ Brown Bear” Brown Bear, “ What do you see?”) I, grew up in a huge family, and have always been surrounded by children, and sibling’s. This influenced my love of structured play, watching my siblings grow, and my desire to support my family in any way as possible. I have been caring for children for 9 years in the Education child care field. I began volunteering seasonal positions in after school programs, Summer camp Counselor positions, when I was in high school, and I have cared for children professionally since then. My experience during this career went Read more very successful, I became a floater teacher, an assistant teacher, and also a lead teacher at child care centers, private schools, also after school programs. I completed EEC Childcare Development trainings, Administration Trainings, First Aid/Cpr as well. After completing all trainings, I’ve received certifications, credits/degree’s, which gave me the the opportunity to work with all age groups, ranging from infant’s, toddler’s, Preschool, Kindergarten, and After school age in a classroom setting. Being a teacher was the best growth, and amazing experience in my life. This wonderful passion, and heart that I carry within myself, while being family oriented, I truly love being around Children, I cherish supporting families as well. While being a teacher, I decided to go in another direction by supporting, and bringing educational learning for families at home, other than classroom settings. Nannying came along, with 3 years of a fun experience. While working with different families, I was able to bring growth, educational opportunities, social development skills, fine motor skills, sensory, outdoor/indoor activities, music, reading and engagement. I enjoyed every part of being a nanny and a teacher, which is very fulfilling and happiness. Being a nanny allows me to express my creativity, and imagination during play, helping children learn, grow, and exploring the world.
