Hey! I’m Beverly and I’m 23 years old. I graduated from Lesley University with a BS in Art Therapy. I worked as an assistant to my mother, who was a child care provider for 24 years at our home before she moved to Florida in the fall of 2020. I also babysat for the parents if they ever needed me during the weekends or nights! I’ve worked with infants, toddlers, and school aged children (I interned at UP Academy Dorchester in 2018). I also interned at Outside The Lines Studio, although I didn’t work with children, I thought it would be nice to share that I’ve also worked with adult artists who have developmental disabilities (ie, Autism). I also have personal experience with my 3 older cousins who have autism, I spent a lot of time driving them around, talking to them, and helping them with whatever they need! I Read more would like to go to graduate school to continue my education in art therapy or forensic psychology.

Beverly is fantastic! Our 7 month old Rosie can be fussy at times, especially when she is having difficulty with separation anxiety from mom and dad. Beverly is incredibly calm, patient, and creative with ways to soothe her. With her background working in her mom's daycare and experience with kids in emergency foster care placement nothing every phases her. Beverly is wonderful with helping around the house and is always one step ahead of what needs to be done. Her art therapy background really shows in her creative play with Rosie. She is always very flexible with scheduling and punctual. She is often even a few minutes early for her shift. Beverly is a compassionate loving individual and has become a part of our family in the short time we have been able to work together. We plan on working with her until our daughter enters nursery school in the coming months.
