Having a degree in Environmental Studies has opened me to working outdoor with children of different ages. At college I participated in teaching middle schoolers planting techniques and seeing how they were interested and engaged was inspiring. Although I do not have a lot of experience with children I have been in charge of groups of children or left to watch the younger cousins many times before. Something that sets me apart from other candidates is my set of life skills. I can cook, clean, apply first aid, and have many life skills that are essential to child care.
